Hi all, I am back from the hospital.

Irene, I don't know if you read this blog but my cat had 5 kittens. My mom and I had this crazy idea that we would like to drive out and give you one of them as soon as they are old enough to leave their mommy. I know your present cat is very sick and we thought having a new baby around would cheer you up. We may actually do this so please don't say no.

I'm glad you're feeling better. Oh and don't even think about us for those kittens. Cammy will be choosing our next pet when she's ready. No additions will be made to our menagerie until that time. Three cats is plenty for now.

Gollee, gollee, gollee, I'm not sure what to say. I do have two cats who have definitely crossed the line into elderly at this point, and one of them has been very sick and is going up and down in the recovery, so that my emotions have been going up and down as well. In fact he has just had another little episode while I've been writing this note, so I may be taking him back into the emergency clinic tomorrow (Sunday). He should be all right until then, and maybe even until Monday, when I can take him to his regular vet to be hydrated. So you can see how I'm just constantly up and down -- I'm not sure it's a good idea for me to have more cats, at least not right now. But these things can change overnight. Maybe in a few weeks -- I don't know. You are, however, always welcome for a visit, if you'd like a change of scene. Just remember the state of my house!

I'm hoping to have a few little notes of cheer to send sometime soon -- I am as slow as ever about getting things done. I'd also like to have your comments on this little book I'm writing, as soon as I can get it into proper reading shape. You have a way with words.

Later, Love, Irene

Haven't heard from you in a while. How are you doing of late?
