Ann, I'm so glad you have gotten a diagnosis that can be dealt with. Before my thyroid problem was diagnosed (in 1967, that long ago!) I thought I was losing my mind. And yes, I've been taking Synthroid, or a generic, ever since--42 years, after having surgery for hyperthyroidism. My father and earlier his mother also had thyroid problems. And I know of at least one other Hilbert relative with the problem. Not to mention the Spencers.
It is a big relief to have a diagnosis made, and the treatment should make you feel better soon. Keep smiling. We all love you.

Aunt E.
Not to mention Irene, too! I've had two needle biopsies, both negative, and take .88 pills every day.
Another aunt.
