Work went much better today thankyouverymuch, but it was ALL answer to prayers. An order that a client needed right away was delivered even before needed to the freight forwarder (answer to prayer). I actually was responsible for making a sale in my free time. (How? I was in Burke Hardware up the street a few days ago buying a couple of things and Micah mentioned he needed new keys cut. So we go up to the key cutter center and I say to the guy, "I sell you this stuff, you know. Your sales rep sets it up and helps you decide what to get, but I put in a lot of your orders. Anyway, did you know you can get your keys personalized with the name of your store and phone number (or anything you want to say) on them?" Today an order comes in from Burke for 5ooo personalized keys! (Normal PK order: 2000.) YES I told my boss I thought I might have had a hand in it. :) I proudly entered their order. Answer and little bonus from God right there.
I know if something happens there that I HAVE been doing my best and everyone makes mistakes. One of the things I did was pray for another person who is having trouble there with HIS job, asking God to give him guidance. I am saying this because I am learning that praying for others will bring blessing both to them and to you. Things did go better for him today, too. This is nothing I learned on my own; it was a revelation from God and I only write it here because it works and I learned it works. I'm not testifying to myself but to God, even if I eventually flub up something huge there, God worked today and will always walk me through these things. I just don't know what tomorrow brings and it has me anxious though God says not to be anxious for anything, but in prayer and supplication make your requests known to Him. I'm not good at chapter and verse but I know it's in The Book somewhere. :)
My boss was late and I figured he was in a meeting. Well I found out he was sick this morning because last night he thought he was having a massive heart attack. Turns out it wasn't his heart but other health issues; keep him in prayer, OK...I'm surprised he was at work but he says he feels fine now.

Now this evening I went to Nathanael's band concert. Weather is perfect and Micah's sk8er boi buddies were all up and down the walkway with their boards having fun. Pix will be coming of both boys(yes I know, sorry for the wait, they will come with prom pix too...). Nathanael got a rousing standing ovation for clicking "In the Hall of the Mountain King" after he received his senior award. He is known more by the name "Neo" for his resemblance to Keanu Reeves...there are worse things in life than looking like Keanu...everyone was shouting "Neo!!! Neo!!!"

It will be a wonderful moment to remember as he and his buddies disperse to various universities across the nation. Matt is going to major in music education at BGSU. Kristen is going to Ohio Wesleyan to study veternary science. Aaron is going to, I think, Cincinnati Tech or UC. BJ has already gone to Brandeis. Another one is going to minor in piano at MU. And so on...and Neo is off to Grinnell.

I'd like to get him on Leno or Letterman. His clicking is better than anyone ever. His other nickname: Mr. Snaps.

At the risk of another scathing comment from Dan (teasing) .... what the heck is 'clicking'? Some weird Ohio thing they don't do here in sane Colorado? Or just a High School thing.

He has the unique ability to snap his fingers very skillfully. There is a guy called Bobby Badfingers who's been on TV but Nathanael is better than he is. It's a weird Ohio thing only because Nathanael lives in Ohio. :)

Aaron's going to Wright State; Keith is going to UC. He also applied to Dutchess Community College in New York, and for his application he just wrote down that he was applying to Dutchess because he has a rabbit named Dutchess.

Why doesn't Keith buy Fergie's album, "The Dutchess"? Yes, with a "t". He can learn about being bootylicious.
